Sohu.com, China 's leading internet portal, said third quarter net profit was 40.3 million USD, up 316% YoY on robust growth in advertising revenue. Sohu said in a statement that revenue was 120.7 million USD, up 134% YoY and 18 QoQ. Advertising revenue totaled 51.1 million USD, up 18% over the second quarter and 62% over the third quarter of 2007. Non-advertising revenue, derived mainly from online games and wireless value-added services, totaled 69.5 million USD. The company did not give comparative figures.
