Alstom Hydro Co announced Wednesday that it will establish a hydroelectric power technology center in Tianjin in order to support the development of its hydropower business in China and other overseas markets. 

 

Alstom Hydro currently has technology centers in France, Switzerland and India. 

 

Alstom Hydro Co will become an equipment manufacturer and service provider with a complete industrial chain, covering research and development, sales and engineering, according to Jérome Pécresse, president of Alstom's renewable power sector and executive vice-president of Alstom.
