To further promote the work of housing security and to accelerate the improvement of housing conditions for low- and middle-income families, a few days ago, Binhai New Area came up with the Implementation Opinion on Practicing 2012 Housing Security Work Responsibility Goal, which on one hand assigned the responsibility goals for the indemnificatory housing construction this year and the “two types of subsidies”, and on the other hand advanced explicit requirement in respect of specifying the mainly responsible units, strengthening coordination service, setting up evaluation mechanism, intensifying the propaganda, and perfecting operating organizations, etc. This year, Binhai New Area has listed the housing security work as one of its 20 popularity-winning projects and will newly build 25,000 indemnificatory housings with total area of two million square meters around the whole year. At the same time, it will get 290 households to be qualified for enjoying the low-rent housing subsidy and the economic rental housing subsidy.
Our reporter saw on the Breakdown List for Responsibility Goals of 2012 Tianjin Binhai New Area Indemnificatory Housings Construction that, in this year, Binhai New Area will focus on the construction of economically affordable housings, order-oriented and price-fixed commercial housings, and public rental housings (apartments for white and blue collars), among which the affordable housing construction will be a highlight. The affordable housings to be built are mainly located at Dagang and Tanggu with total built-up area of 1.082 million square meters and a total number of 12,000; the order-oriented and price-fixed commercial housings will be mainly built at the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city and the Light Textile Economic Area (the Central Xincheng District) with total built-up area of 474.6 thousand square meters and a total number of 5000; the public rental housings (apartments for white and blue collars) will be distributed more extensively at such places as Tanggu, Dagang, free trade zone, Binhai Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, Light Textile Economic Area, Binhai Tourism Zone, Beitang Economic Area, and Nangang Economic Area, etc. with total built-up area of 443.9 thousand square meters and a total number of 8000.
According to the Information Bulletin on Tianjin Binhai New Area Indemnificatory Housing Construction issued by the Planning and Land and Resources Administration Bureau of Binhai New Area, the construction for Binhai New Area Hechangyuan Project Phase II has kicked off. As we learned, the project is situated at the No. 15 plot of southern Eco-city. It is actually the order-oriented and price-fixed commercial housings with floor area of 66.4 thousand square meters and built-up area of 109.9 thousand square meters and a planned 1708 households. The project was started in March of 2012. Currently, it has had all pile foundations completed and is getting prepared for the subsequent works.
