To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Tianjin Port’s re-opening, Tianjin Port will hold an International Contemporary Art Exhibition in Tianjin Port Museum. The exhibition will open at 10:30 am on July 27 and will last for two months until September 27. Seventeen world-famous artists will participate in the art exhibition including Gill Bailey from the UK, Lucy Baker from USA, Marc Baufere from France, Weiran Liu from China and Torsten Jurell from Sweden.
The artistic theme of Tianjin Port International Contemporary Art Exhibition is “Expansion and Merging”. “Expansion” includes two aspects. One of them means the artists will break the old rules and constantly try more new possibilities. The other one means that through the artistic collision of different nations, cultures and language backgrounds, new inspirations will be stimulated. “Merging” means to seek the common human nature from different nations, languages and cultures.
