The total number of vehicles in Tianjin has exceeded 2.2 million, while the city needs to add 350,000 parking spaces to solve the problem for car owners.
 

According to the plan, Tianjin will begin to build several multi-storey car-parks on high streets that will provide 1,400 parking spaces by the end of this year.
 

By the year of 2020, the city will build 214 underground parking lots or parking structures, which will accommodate approximately 710,000 cars.
