Based on the theme of "Intangible Cultural Heritage and Modern Life", The Second Beijing Tianjin Hebei Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition will be held during between 8th-12th June in Tianjin Art Museum. The exhibition will consist of several components: exhibitions, special performances, folk activity, public lectures and a new products conference.
The exhibition will be curated into four sections: the "Boutique Museum", "Living Museum", "Health Museum" and "Ethnic Culture Museum". The Boutique Museum will show people high skill level products. The Living Museum will be full of local cultural characteristics, displaying products linked closely to modern life. The Health Museum will display traditional elements of Chinese culture such as tea and Chinese medicine. There will also be a special performance lasting two hours, mainly showing the Tianjin opera.
The purpose of this exhibition is to fully integrate the outstanding intangible cultural heritage resources in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and build a platform for cultural heritage protection, inheritance, exchange and cooperation. It seeks to merge cultural heritage with modern life to the benefit and enjoyment of the people!
