Renaissance Tianjin Lakeview Hotel hosted "Thai Food Festival" Opening Ceremony on the 15th of July 2016. Hotel has invited one of the best Thai Chef Muesantat from Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa, to present a real tasty Thai culinary journey to guests. There were more than 160 guests joined opening ceremony while enjoy the food and Thai performance.
In collaborating with the Utour Travel Agency, XingJian Fight Club and Particle News to promote Thai cuisine and culture, and discover the Amazing Thailand.
The opening ceremony began with Thai traditional dance-Fawn Lep (the Fingernails Dance), Fawn Marn Gumm Ber (the Butterfly Dance), Fawn Marn Mong Kol (the Happy Dance), and Fawn Ngiew (the Scarf Dance). And the live band also from Thailand brought us the most popular songs in Thailand.
More surprise than that, XingJian Fight Club has showed us a fantastic Mauy Thai live show to all guests, Muay Thai is a combat sport of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. The fighter performed a ritual dance in the beginning, it is called kru ram muay, in order to pay homage to their teachers and family and to bless them with victory in the ring. Many guests also joined on the stage and learned how to fight in Mauy Thai, this drove lots attraction in the event and encouraged people to know more about Thailand.
At the end of the party, Renaissance Tianjin Lakeview Hotel expressed the sincere appreciation to all the guests. The lucky draw winners had been given by a big surprise, which the grand prize were the travel package in Thailand for 2 people, sponsored by Utour. The other prizes included room vouchers from Marriott Hotels in Thailand, F&B voucher in Tianjin and gift boxes from Particle News.
