One adorable black-and-white bear left a man's ego black and blue after the intruder broke in to the panda enclosure at a zoo in Nanchang, China, allegedly to impress his friends.
Caught on surveillance video, the invader appears to tap the sleeping panda on the head. In turn, the once-peaceful Meiling awakens and tackles the interloper to the ground.
As pandas are no longer endangered, the only one here in danger was this thick-headed trespasser, with the UFC-like bout lasting about a minute, Meiling pinning him to the ground for much of it.
As the animal's diet is about 99 percent bamboo, the remaining 1 percent apparently consists of the intruder’s jeans. After finally managing to escape this sad reenactment of "The Revenant," the man quickly leaves the leafy octagon with his torn pants, never to return.
"We arranged medical checks for the panda and told the breeders to closely observe its condition," Kuang Huaming, deputy head of the management office of Nanchang Zoo, told tp press. "So far the panda is fine."
Besides his ripped attired, the man reportedly had no major injuries.
He entered a world of pain-da.
