On the evening of 25th November 2016 the Sheraton Tianjin Hotel held its annual Christmas Lighting Ceremony, raising the curtain on the Christmas season. VIP clients, resident guests and dozens of Tianjin's mainstream media were invited to join the event. Managing Director Mr. Ugur Talayhan delivered a warm speech to express his appreciation for the support given to Sheraton Tianjin Hotel during the past year and to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
On the night the Sheraton Tianjin Hotel had a true festive and joyous Christmas atmosphere. Guests were gifted with a lovely flashing Santa badges when they signed in and Christmas turkey, Yule log cakes, red wine and soft drinks helped to put everyone in the seasonal spirit. The lighting ceremony began with the traditional yuletide songs by the students from the American Education Academy. Their beautiful Christmas carols led to the countdown for the lights and Mr Talayhan then lit the Christmas tree as Santa Claus descended from the sky via the hotel's sightseeing elevator, bringing presents and joy to every guest.
