The opening celebration of "Icelandic Seafood Festival" of Renaissance Tianjin Lakeview Hotel has been held on 10 June at BLD restaurant. All seats have been sold out and more than hundred media friends and guests enjoyed the fantastic seafood together!
Hotel Executive Chef Humphrey Wang in collaboration with the guest chef David Ball presented the finest seafood to all seafood fans. At the beginning, David made a simple instruction of Iceland and nutritive value of seafood from the deep ocean of Arctic.
All the seafood, such as Canadian lobster, King salmon, Iceland scampi and New Zealand mussels, are all hauled ashore from Arctic Ocean or north Atlantic around Iceland and ship to Tianjin directly to keep the fresh and nutrition.
After the savories, David presented the best highlighted part and also the signature creation of "Icelandic Seafood Festival"- "Iceland halibut fillet, salt crusted with rosemary, lemon and garlic". Total 5 kilogram halibut was roasted in special Icelandic way, tasted like cream with a tender mouthfeel.
