Shangri-La Hotel, Tianjin held an exciting and innovative meeting fair coupled with a guest appreciation party aptly called "A Taste of Shangri-La" on 30 June 2017. The hotel's newly launched meeting planner kit offers organisers upgraded conferencing services, designed to provide event planners with more flexible and personalised choices. Shangri-La's unique style allows guests to plan and recommend their ideas and then work with experienced operators to see their creative thinking evolve into reality.
An 'artificial intelligence' or 'bot' was part of the arrival experience followed by a 'sundowner' cocktail reception before the gala dinner. Jens Corder, the general manager, welcomed guests followed by an introduction to the hotel's many features and services given by Tracy Zou, director of sales and marketing. Who also announced that conference and travel experts and VIP Golden Circle members could also receive or exchange points when they hold meetings or events at the hotel, as well as enjoy courtesies from Shangri-La properties around the world.
