Lights out for climate change at the Radisson Plaza Hotel Tianjin

TIANJIN, CHINA – (24 March, 2010) - On March 27, 2010 at 8:30 p.m., the 270-room Radisson Plaza Hotel Tianjin will reduce lighting at its hotel premises in support of Earth Hour 2010. Earth Hour 2010 is organized by the World Wildlife Fund, one of the world’s largest and most respected independent conservation organizations.


To be a part of Earth Hour, Radisson Plaza Hotel Tianjin will turning out all non-essential lighting, this includes building, lobby and restaurant lighting for one hour, and using candle light and battery lighting for our public areas.


“We are extremely happy to join many other businesses in Tianjin supporting earth hour and we will take every opportunity to promote and participate in initiatives to create a more environmentally sustainable future,” said Scott Walton, General Manager, Radisson Plaza Hotel Tianjin.
