1Gather family and friends and celebrate summertime with gourmet Sunday brunch indulgence.

Every Sunday from 11am until 3pm, Café Yun serves their renowned BBQ Sunday Brunch. Café Yun’s gourmet marketplace extends onto the alfresco outdoor terrace, where a special barbecue station is fired up each weekend. The scent of grilling meats, seafood and vegetables inspires the appetite for the feast ahead. Our master chefs cook to perfection prime cuts of beef and lamb chops with black pepper or mushroom sauce, and cheese sausages accompanied by Dijon mustard. Fabulously fresh seafood on the grill includes oysters, lobsters and Argentina shrimp.

Vegetarians can enjoy an array of non-meat options, including skewers with mushroom, eggplant, corn and roasted pineapple. Other not-to-be-missed items include spicy crayfish, which are now in season, flame salmon sushi and Japanese vegetable pancakes from Café Yun’s new contemporary Japanese kitchen. Rum chocolate lava cake and Hazelnut creme brulee are among the decadent sweets at the buffet dessert station freshly created by our talented Pastry chefs.

Freshness and flavour are at the core of Café Yun and specialty chefs at the various show kitchens will be cooking, carving and plating-to order for diners as they watch in delicious anticipation.

34Whilst enjoying your leisurely Sunday brunch, a host of entertainment will delight diners of all ages. Little ones can explore and play in the Pirate Fort on the hotel lawn. Guests can also enjoy the elegant French sport of Pentanque, a fun game of strategy and ball throwing accuracy played on the grass.

2Enhancing the celebratory ambience during the Sunday Brunch, Shangri-La Hotel Tianjin has invited Mr. Wang Xudong, lead singer of popular local rock band Feng Lin Huo Shang. Since launching in 2003, Wang Xudong and his band have won several music competitions, and in 2008 he wrote a song for pop idol Chris Lee. Wang’s unique, raspy voice sets the mood for warm gourmet afternoons enjoyed in style by the Tianjin riverfront at Shangri-La Hotel, Tianjin. We look forward to seeing you there!
