In celebration of French National Day or le 14 Juillet, Shangri-La Hotel Tianjin will host a spectacular La Vie en Rose French Gala Dinner on 14 July. With a chic pink and black theme, the dinner will pair a 6-course menu of fine French gastronomy crafted by Parisian Executive Chef Yvan Collet with sommelier-selected fine wines from France.
Executive Chef Yvan Collet hails from Paris, France and has more than 27 years of culinary experience in both luxury hotels and independent French restaurants and wine clubs. He was head chef of the first independent French restaurant to open in Beijing in 1997 and Executive Chef at the Boao Golden Coast Hot Spring Resort where he cooked for heads of state and VIPs. He has also owned and managed his own restaurants, including La Seine and La Villa restaurants in Tianjin and Chez Max in Guangzhou. With a passion for creativity and teamwork, Chef Collet believes “good cooking is when things taste of what they are.”
This exclusive wine dinner will be held in the Horizon Club, with dazzling views of the Tianjin skyline and Haihe River from the 32nd floor.
