The restriction on vehicle plate number will be resume in Tianjin from today (June 8th, 2020).
 

The policy requires automobiles with end numbers 1 or 6, 2 or 7, 3 or 8, 4 or 9 and 5 or 0 respectively from Monday to Friday to refrain from driving. The specific days of road restrictions changes on a quarterly basis, sometimes leading to some minor confusion and fines incurred by car owners.
 

天津恢复限行

一、自2020年6月8日起，工作日（因法定节假日放假调休而调整为上班的星期六、星期日除外）每日7时至9时、16时至19时，禁止外埠号牌机动车（北京号牌小型、微型载客汽车除外）和使用小客车区域指标登记上牌的本市机动车在外环线（不含）以内道路通行。

二、自2020年6月8日至2021年4月4日，工作日（因法定节假日放假调休而调整为上班的星期六、星期日除外）每日7时至19时，本市及外埠号牌机动车在外环线（不含）以内道路，继续实施按车牌尾号区域限行交通管理措施。
 

三、根据上述第二条规定，按车牌尾号工作日（因法定节假日放假调休而调整为上班的星期六、星期日除外）区域限行的机动车号牌（含临时号牌）尾号分为5组，定期轮换限行日，分别为：
 

（一）自2020年6月8日至2020年7月5日，星期一至星期五限行机动车号牌尾号（机动车号牌尾号为英文字母的按0号管理，下同）分别为1和6、2和7、3和8、4和9、5和0；

（二）自2020年7月6日至2020年10月4日，星期一至星期五限行机动车号牌尾号分别为5和0、1和6、2和7、3和8、4和9；
 

（三）自2020年10月5日至2021年1月3日，星期一至星期五限行机动车号牌尾号分别为4和9、5和0、1和6、2和7、3和8；
 

（四）自2021年1月4日至2021年4月4日，星期一至星期五限行机动车号牌尾号分别为3和8、4和9、5和0、1和6、2和7。
