Representatives of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) recently issued Tianjin Binhai International Airport and Chinese aviation freight an e-freight certification. As a result, Tianjin Airport has become the first e-freight airport in Chinese mainland.
Chinese mainland also became the 26th destination worldwide to offer paperless e-freight service.
IATA strong advocated e-freight after electronic tickets, self-service check in counters, boarding pass barcode readers and electronic luggage tags. E-freight is a simple business revolution in the civil aviation industry aimed at eliminating paper documents, improving transport efficiency and reducing business costs.
