Due to the latest COVID-19 outbreak in Tianjin, the city tightened its travel restrictions weeks ago. Those who want to leave the city must have a certificate to prove that they need to leave Tianjin. But starting on Tuesday, the city announced the certificate is no longer needed.
Now you only need a negative Covid test taken in the last 48 hours and a green health code to leave the city.
The city's COVID-19 cases have consistently declined. Eased travel restrictions have made it easier for residents to reunite with their families before the Spring Festival.
