More than 10 Chinese provinces have recently released their GDP growth report. According to numbers from the reports, their growth in the first half of the year was higher than the country's 11.1 per cent year-on-year .
Beijing reported a 12-percent growth, Tianjin, Beijing's neighboring city, reported 18-percent year-on-year growth and eastern Zhejiang Province a a 13-percent growth.
As industrial growth heats up, provinces in the country's western and central areas are privileged, media reports said. Shaanxi, Hubei, Hunan provinces and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region all predicted a growth of over 14 per cent, and Ningxia even believed it would reach 18 per cent.
Some provinces also released data regarding the property sector. The data showed that the government's efforts to cool the sector seem to be more apparent.
The statistics bureau said Beijing's housing prices in June declined 0.4 percent compared with that of May. Shenzhen said that in the first six months of the year, the average price of newly built commercial houses in the city dropped 22.6 percent.
