Millions have been enraged online after a Chinese man launched into a three-hour tirade against his wife who had just given birth by caesarean section.
The man told his wife to “go to hell” and stop crying or “I will kill you” after she “forgot” to tell doctors she could not breastfeed.
The unidentified man’s tirade was recorded by another new mother at a hospital in eastern China’s Anhui province on April 6.
“How do you have the cheek to cry? Do you have no brain at all?” the man cursed in a video clip online.
As a nurse asked him to stop “being so excited” and calm down, to which the man responded: “I don’t need to calm down.”
“Stop scolding her,” the nurse continued, adding: “She just had surgery and the incision still hurts.”
The cold-hearted man then said: “She feels pain. She can go to hell.”
The poster of the video explained that the man was taking his anger out on his wife because she forgot to tell doctors she would not be able to breastfeed, leading a doctor to unwittingly induce lactation.
The woman did not tell her husband about the breastfeeding issue until, in his eyes, it was too late.
