At around 18:00 on July 5, a bus had a one-way traffic accident in the Tunying Village section of Puming Town, Lulianglan County, Shanxi Province on National Highway 209. On the 6th, the Lan County Government Information Office issued a notice stating that the accident caused 1 death on the spot, 3 deaths after rescue efforts, 1 serious injury, and 12 minor injuries. Cause of the accident is being investigated.
According to the report, a list of suspected casualties showed that the accident had killed 3 students and injured 2 students seriously. On the morning of the 6th, the staff of the Lan County Education and Technology Bureau confirmed that the accident did cause the death of 3 students, and the casualties of the students in the accident have been reported to the local government.
