Two people were killed and six injured after a car mounted the pavement in Yancheng, Jiangsu this morning.
The accident happened at 11.33 am when a 24-year-old driver lost control of his car and plowed into pedestrians after ramming the pavement at the intersection of Renmin Road and Haichun Road.
The driver, surnamed Gao, has been detained by the police.
