An Eastern Airlines passenger plane traveling from Lhasa to Shanghai was forced to make an emergency landing after smoke filled the cabin on the 13th of this month. Flight attendants quickly investigated the source of the smoke and identified an auxiliary battery, belonging to a passenger, as the cause.
