China will raise the retail prices of gasoline and diesel on Thursday, based on recent changes in international oil prices, the country's top economic planner said on Wednesday.
Gasoline prices will increase by 385 yuan (US$53.7) per ton and diesel prices by 370 yuan per ton, the National Development and Reform Commission said.
From 24:00 on September 20, the price of refined oil will be increased. The adjusted maximum retail prices per liter of refined oil products in our city are: No. 92 gasoline 8.43 yuan, an increase of 0.31 yuan; No. 95 gasoline 8.90 yuan, an increase of 0.33 yuan; No. 0 diesel oil 8.12 yuan, an increase of 0.32 yuan. After the price adjustment, filling up a tank of fuel for an ordinary private car will cost about 15 yuan more.
