The venue sponsored by The Westin Tianjin was also remarkable. The decoration was exquisite, indeed a night where guests felt better for caring and sharing. The entrance ticket was CNY600, and from each entrance, CNY200 were reverted to support breast cancer prevention exams for Chinese women who are financially unable to afford them. The honoured clinic was the Tianjin Cancer Hospital Prevention Centre who was officially presented to the donations by the TICC organization board.
The right motivation that brought the TICC board to organize an awareness event was also a very deep influence for all the invitees. The pleasant evening was spent amongst friends and people in Tianjin’s community dedicated to change the world a little bit. What might sound like a cliché is undoubtedly a huge step in changing the lives of so many unprivileged women and their families.
The event stands as an act of responsibility and humanity in the expatriate community in Tianjin, showing that regardless of nationality and cultural differences we can come together and work towards of a better life.
