Bubbalicious Brunch at The Westin Tianjin

On Sunday the 7th of November, The Westin Tianjin was wrapped up in bubbles, everywhere, from the champagne to the soap bubbles in the hall, guests were welcomed in a bubbly, elegant manner. The topic was perfect, and a girl inside of a giant bubble showed ones way to the wonderful treats inside. 

The Bubbalicious Brunch is nothing short on delight. The buffet featured salad bars, smoked meats bar, and a live cooking area where delicious risottos and pastas were prepared in front of the guests with the ingredients of their choice. To be true, the raclette with melted cheese on top of precisely chosen potatoes was simply to die for.

For cheese lovers, vast options of different world cheeses were offered: Roquefort, Emmental, Gruyère and Camembert to suffice everyone’s cravings and tastes, accompanied with exquisite wines. Who can say that they enjoy this in Tianjin as much as they wished for? The seafood area offers oysters, lobster and plenty more, and just across from it is the popular grilling area where you can pretty much spend your whole brunch at, given the surprisingly vast choice of ingredients. As you head to your seat, a stop at the bread area is mandatory.  By now you’re wondering “my, oh my, that’s a hearty brunch!” Yes, but let’s not forget the ultimate treat, the desserts corner where you can try a little bit of absolute delights: Belgian waffles, Portuguese tarts and chocolate soufflé’s were the yummy addition to the already animated crowd. Chocolate and honey fountains, and cotton candy made the kid’s eyes shine, and grown-ups too!

The ambience was relaxed as the melodies of Bossa Nova and Jazz were played by a live band, while martinis and seasoned salmon were being served at The Exchange. But naturally, The Westin Tianjin thinks of it all, and what is a brunch if not a lively gathering of friends and family over a beautiful table? And of course the environment was family-friendly. A clown was the centre of attention of the youngsters who got fascinated by the balloons he was offering. And not to end their fun to soon, the hotel created a playground area just for them to enjoy brunch in their own pace.
