Tianjin Spring Real-Estate Exchange held its opening ceremony yesterday at Meijiang Exhibition and International Conference Center. More than 20,000 citizens visited there on the opening day, regardless of the cold rain.
Properties under construction made up 95% of the total, with the remaining 5% completed. More than 80% of all the commercial and residential real estate are only for trade show but not for sale.
“Our aim is to promote the brands and advertise the future products. Also, we’d like to collect buyers’ information in order to know what property types people need in the market,” a property developer said.
Only five out of sixteen exhibition projects in Binhai New Area are for sale, with the average price reaching 10,696 CNY/m2. The eco-city also sent four projects to the show, two of them for trade.
On the opening day, 119 suites of newly constructed commercial property with total area of 11,314 square meters were bought, at 9590 CNY/m2.
