Yamada Denki, one of the largest electrical appliance retailers in Japan, is planning to open a flagship store in Tianjin in June.
The interior decoration is drawing to a close and the open-type shelves are finished installing. The flagship store’s staff are engaged in training and all kinds of preparation work for the forthcoming opening.
Located in Tianjin Center on Nanjing Road, Yamada Store consists of five floors with a total floor area of 15,000 square meters. On the first floor, cell phones are the main product with special repairs counters; televisions, digital camera, digital video and digital sound are available for clients on the second floor; various computers and relevant accessories can be found on the third floor; on the fourth floor, white goods like refrigerators and washing machines are arranged. On the top floor, restaurants with Japanese, Korean and Italian food can be found.
About a dozen cashiers are set on each floor, which helps clients save time on paying. Several seats as well as shopping blankets and handcarts make the shopping experience more convenient and comfortable.
Yamada Denki will target Tianjin’s affluent classes and also will attract middling customers through lowing prices.
