Tianjin Port Holdings Co., Ltd. and Xi'an International Trade & Logistics Park (XITLP) entered into a strategic cooperation and their joint venture was set up on August 4.

Tianjin Port has established 21 inland dry ports and regional sales center, covering main provinces in China's western interior.

Tianjin Port is one of the main ports for Shaanxi Province. Built in 1995, Tianjin Port was a leading one to launch its container transportation businesses between Tianjin and Xi'an. It built an officer in Xi'an in 1996 and cooperated well with local companies and related institutions. Tianjin Port and XITLP reached a cooperation intention on August 4, 2010. After that, Tianjin Port's business in Shaanxi climbed sharply and its container business expanded by 147 percent in the first half of 2011.

In a bid to develop Tianjin Port's influence on regional economy, the company accelerates infrastructure of logistics network. By far the company is capable of providing port services for companies to run foreign trades.
