Tianjin Airlines expanded the network out of its Tianjin (TSN) base southeast of Beijing on 16 September.
The Hainan Airlines subsidiary now flies three times weekly to Huangshan (TXN) in the eastern part of the country.
Flights are operated with 106-seat E-190 aircraft. According to the airline, the route primarily targets tourist flows to Huangshan, which shares its name with the nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site mountain range, which is a major tourist destination in China.
The route was last operated between 1995 and 1999 by Air China.
