A jet has crashed during the China International General Aviation Convention in Pucheng, Northwest China’s Shaanxi province on Friday, Xinhua News Agency reported.

People were watching a demonstration flight of the fighter jet FBC-1, also known as a Flying Leopard, when it crashed.

Eyewitnesses report seeing someone parachute from the jet minutes before it crashed.  According to witnesses, one pilot was injured and sent to the hosptial, another is missing.

There are also media reports saying the plane landed safely after “engine failure”, rather than 'crashed.'
