Thai Agricultural Products Caravan in China 2009 was held by the Thai Central Dept of Commerce on June 5th at Holiday Inn Tianjin Riverside as the first stop in China. 170 Chinese and Thai Entrepreneurs, government officials attended the event. The caravan will be lasted from 6th to 21st in the supermarkets in Tianjin. According to the Prime Minister Officials, the reason why Tianjin was chosen as the first stop is the prime location as the largest port city in Northern China which contributes the privilege of logistics and its increasing buying power of the public. A import-export cooperation plan of 17 billon was sighed to strengthen the sino-Thai diplomatic ties. More than 10 imported thai fruits and several beverages and pre-served fruits were tasted and exhibited during the day by the attendees, this will be rolling in other cities like Beijing, Xi An, Da Lian, Shen Yang etc in China.
