On 29 Nov, 2011, in the lounge lobby of Renaissance Tianjin Lakeview Hotel, the traditional Christmas tree lighting ceremony kicked off, which also marked their one-year anniversary. At 19:45, all the guests gathered round to admire the Christmas tree and decorations, with General Manager Steven Yau and senior executives leading the Christmas lighting ceremony.
This event showed the staff’s appreciation of the support from guests during the hotel’s opening year. Meanwhile, Renaissance Tianjin Lakeview is also contributing to society: in the innovative program, “Advocate the Nature”, it is committed to preserving light water resources in southwestern China. Through donations from staff and guests, in the “Smile Action” program, more and more children regained their happy faces. Last week, the hotel donated the winter proofing clothes to Yushu disaster area in Qinghai Province, and regular visits to the orphanage are underway.
