The St. Regis Tianjin holiday festivities will kick off with a magical evening on Wednesday, December 7 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. featuring a special tree lighting ceremony. The entire family is invited to this festive event in the Lobby and Drawing Room featuring Christmas carols, cocktails, canapés and champagne toasts. The evening will kick off with a host of Christmas carols performed by the Junior Choir and Band from Wellington College International Tianjin. Guests can enjoy complimentary libations of the season such as “Gluehwein,” spiced hot wine, or Italian hot chocolate with hazelnut cream. Sumptuous hors d’oeuvres include hand-made canapés of roast beef, duck confit, salmon and brie cheese. Seasonally festive sweet treats include ginger bread, marzipan stolen, mince pies, Christmas cookies, macaroons and Christmas logs. Children will enjoy meeting Santa Claus and his lovely Santarinas, who will be strolling around greeting guests and passing out treats. At 7:30pm, the St. Regis staff will light the Christmas tree in the Drawing Room and invite guests to enjoy a champagne toast.
