On 25th April 2012, COSCO International's subsidiary, COSCO Kansai Paint & Chemicals Co., Ltd. ("COSCO Kansai") held its 20th anniversary celebration at the Sheraton Tianjin Binhai Hotel. Tianjin's Vice Mayor Wang Zhiping gave high remarks on the outstanding performance of COSCO Kansai achieved in the past two decades, at a meeting with COSCO Hong Kong Group's President Zhang Liang and Kansai Paint Co., Ltd's President Yuzo Kawamori. He said that COSCO Kansai made important contribution to the development of Tianjin and set a good example of successful cooperation between COSCO Group and Kansai Paint Co., Ltd. He hoped that COSCO Group and Kansai Paint Co., Ltd. will continue to strengthen collaboration in the future so as to help COSCO Kansai and the chemical industry of Tianjin achieve greater development.
President Zhang Liang and President Yuzo Kawamori said the joint venture of COSCO Group and Kansai Paint Co., Ltd., COSCO Kansai, achieved rapid development in the past two decades. This is not only the most successful company invested by Kansai Paint Co., Ltd. in China, but also one of COSCO Group's subsidiaries with the highest potential.
