As a famous historical city located at the gateway to Beijing and adjacent to the Bohai Sea, Tianjin was the first city with foreign concessions in Northern China. Due to its unique geographic location and historical background, the city has its own special features in politics, economics and culture.
During this exploration tour with us you will have the chance to explore a new facet of Tianjin's history. With the focus on foreign concessions in the late Qing Dynasty and early Kuomintang (KMT) era we will take you on a guided tour through the old colonial districts and areas where literally the West meets the East...
The highlights of our tour will be: (sites given in red require admission)
• Japanese Concession - Last Emperor Puyi’s former home
• French Park - A unique house with a hidden safe room
• Qing Wang Fu
• German Club
• Astor House Museum

• French and British Concession
Important:
This is a walking only tour which requires approx. three hours in total. Please be prepared to wear comfortable gear, e.g. walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.

09:00 - 13:00 Tour to Japanese, French and British concession
13:00 - 15:00 Lunch at Bistro Thonet in Qing Wang Fu
15:00 - 16:00 Tour to German Club, Astor House Museum (optional)
