A broad assembly of top level doctors, scientists and officials from China’s healthcare sector gathered on Thursday the 6th of August at the Royal Danish Embassy in Beijing. The main objective of the seminar was to discuss and inform about the standardization of the IT-communication in China’s growing healthcare industry.

Success

“It has been a success because this event gives numerous opportunities to develop and to connect with different kinds of important people. Producers, authorities and representatives from the whole industry are assembled to discuss this important topic,” says Doctor Shen Yifeng, a physician at Shanghai Mental Health Center.

He was delighted with the outcome of the seminar and emphasized the importance of strong communication in the field of healthcare.

A proud Host

Danish ambassador, Jeppe Tranholm-Mikkelsen, was pleased to see all the V.I.P.’s of China’s health sector at the Embassy. He points out that China is showing effort to develop common welfare in China.

“In the midst of economic turbulence, China has launched its ambitious healthcare reform, fuelled by strong political determination and an 850 billion RMB stimulus package,” says Jeppe Tranholm-Mikkelsen.

The ambassador adds that Denmark in the future will follow and promote the ongoing activities of healthcare in China.

NNIT and ORACLE

The seminar was conducted by the Danish consulting company NNIT together with its international partner ORACLE. They presented the crowd with a number of interesting features concerning communication in the pharmaceutical sector. General Manager of NNIT, Jonas Dan Jørgensen, was confident that the event would help to improve China’s future healthcare communication.

“It is a rare case to have all these important decision makers assembled at the same time. I am sure that everyone will benefit from this seminar. The Danish Embassy has given the perfect surroundings for an event such as this,” says General Manager of NNIT, Jonas Dan Jørgensen.
