To help children achieve their maximum potential on the football field, REGO International School Tianjin and ClubFootball have established a partnership to organise Saturday courses with professional UK ClubFootball coaches. The junior coaching programmes are open to boys and girls from Year R to 6 from all local and International schools and run on Saturday afternoons at the REGO sports fields. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to advanced players, and classes are held in an English-language environment, with a Chinese assistant coach also present where required.
Programmes teach a tailored and progressive skill-based coaching programme, and are aimed at developing the whole child as well as the junior footballer in a friendly and fun environment. In addition to building a passion for football and developing on-the-pitch skills and knowledge, courses emphasize the principles of teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership. Above all, courses are fun!
All coaches are UK nationals, qualified by the English FA or equivalent. All have considerable experience of coaching juniors all over the world, and are dedicated to providing fun and educational sessions for young footballers in China. A limit of 16 students per group is imposed to ensure players receive individual attention, and as per ClubFootball policy, there is a ball per child during sessions.
