Wellington Theme Day, a special occasion organized by ANZ, has been held together with the Beijing International fair for Trade in services on Wednesday. The opening day of the fair has attracted people pouring into the China National Convention Centre.

Wade-Brown, who came to the fair with the New Zealand delegation to strengthen cooperation with Chinese counterparts in the field of trade, education and tourism.
Having noticed that Wellington and Beijing have been sister cities for eight years, the mayor has expressed Wellington’s intention in having a more close relationship with Beijing in different industries. She also mentioned some of the projects
Wellington is going to put focus on in the next few years, including airport extension from New Zealand directly to Asia, instead of stopping in Sydney.
