This 3.5-hour morning tour will provide a panoramic introduction to the past 100 years of history that occupies a central place in modern Chinese memory. See Tianjin as seen by Sun Yat-sen, Eric Liddell, Herbert Hoover and many others. Meet the foreign businessmen, Chinese officials, diplomats and soldiers who shaped Tianjin and China and made it home. See where they lived, worked, worshiped and played. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at the 148-year-old Astor Hotel.
8:00 - 8:30 AM Registration at Xikai Cathedral
8:30 AM - 12:00 PM Tour of the Japanese, French and British concessions
12:00 -14:00 PM Western set menu lunch at the Astor Hotel and visit the museum inside the hotel
14:00 -16:00 PM Optional walking tour of Xiao Bai Lou and Wu Da Dao

This is a walking only tour. Please wear comfortable clothes, walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather because the walk will last more than three hours. Junior Equestrian & Polo Programme Course |

Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club (“Metropolitan Polo Club”) is proud to offer the Programme again this year. Tailored specifically to introduce boys and girls to the joy of riding and the thrilling sport of polo, these weekend courses will commence on March 31, 2012. Altogether there are five courses, each course lasting for two days.
Students will stay overnight and enjoy sumptuous meals at the 5-star standard Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club Hotel which is located by the polo field.
The course is open to boys and girls aged 12-18 years. Prior riding experience is not necessary. The course fee is CNY 8,000 per person.
