On 22 April, Banyan Tree Tianjin Riverside Hotel held a “Love Earth, Love Life" Event on Earth Day designed to create awareness about protecting the environment and cherishing Mother Earth.
From 7:00pm to 8:00pm on 22 April, Banyan Tree Tianjin Riverside turned off or dimed all non-essential lightings to commemorate this special day. The hotel also organized a series of green activities for hotel’s guests, including fish releasing, candlelight buffet dinners and an Earth Day cocktail party by serving Earth Day specially concocted cocktails at the Lobby Lounge. Guests immersed themselves in the perfect atmosphere of the candlelight.
All proceeds of fish releasing donations from guests will go to the hotel’s corporate social responsibility program to further enhance the local community. This includes resource conservation, carbon reduction through the planting of trees, and educational support in the local community.
