A juvenile technology design competition was held in Tianjin Huiwen Middle School in North China's Tianjin city. As a technology education for adolescents, the competition attracted more than 2,000 students from up to 200 high schools and primary schools.
The competition divided participants into different groups based on their ages and assigned diverse projects to the groups.
Applying science knowledge learnt in classrooms to the projects, the students designed and created their works by themselves, using materials which can easily be found in daily life.
