From the 21st March, the electronic camera of Youyi North Road at the corner of Da Gu South Road and Huang Shan Road will be formally enabled to capture road traffic violations of those who receive phone calls or not wearing a seatbelt when driving.

The Traffic Department prompts drivers: ‘According to the road traffic management-related laws and regulations, to answer the call of a portable telephone while driving, the driver will be fined 100 CNY and recorded a 2 point penalty. When driving on a road outside the city highway, if the driver doesn't use a seat belt, they will be fined 50 CNY, but not issued any points. However, when driving on the highway or on the city fast road, drivers who do not use a seatbelt will be fined 200 CNY and issued a 2 point penalty.

So please comply with relevant laws and regulations, to develop good driving habits and take responsibility for your life through civilized driving.
