Tianjin Airlines will commence its first flights to Southeast Asia this winter, with the launch of scheduled flights to Phnom Penh.

 

The Chinese carrier will operate four weekly flights to the Cambodian capital from its home base at Tianjin Binhai International Airport this winter. Services will depart at 1935 every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, arriving in Phnom Penh at 2355. The return flight will leave Cambodia at 0050 the following morning, getting back into Tianjin at 0620. All flights will be operated using an Airbus A320 aircraft.

 

The new international service is one of approximately 20 new routes the airline is adding this winter, with others connecting Tianjin with domestic destinations including Urumqi, Kashi, Shantou, Nanchang.

 

Tianjin Airlines, which is owned by Hainan Airlines’ parent company, HNA Group, mainly operates domestic flights within China, from its hubs at Tianjin, Hohhot, Urumqi and Xi’an. But it also flies international routes to destinations in Mongolia and South Korea.
