The disciplinary watchdog of the Communist Party of China (CPC) reported 220 cases relating to breaches of the eight-point anti-bureaucracy and formalism guidelines from April 8 to 11.
Â
The cases were uncovered by disciplinary watchdogs in 24 provincial-level regions, including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei Province, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
Â
On April 8, the CPC's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) launched a new section on its website, inviting the public to report cases of corruption and misconduct to be followed up with tight disciplinary inspections.
Â
The CCDI also published details of 183 cases of misconduct on April 8, and said it would name officials who have breached the guidelines every Monday.
Â
According to the CCDI, the public is encouraged to expose officials who use public money for gift cards, travel and dining and accept online consumption cards.Â
