As one of the six Sino-US Energy Cooperation programs this year, Tianjin Economic Technological Development Area signed agreements with the city of Philadelphia on clean tech cooperation and transfer.
Â
According to the agreement, over the next three years the two cities will establish a Sino-US clean technology cooperation and transfer centre in Tianjin, and set up pilot programs focusing on clean water, clean energy and high-efficiency construction work.
Â
The project will also include transferring and promoting energy conservation and emission reduction technologies.
Â
Xu Yufeng, assistant to the director of Tianjin TEDA Eco Centre, said TEDA Eco Centre will serve 80 companies from the US, focusing on environmental protection, clean water and emission reduction technology.
