Tianjin: October 12, 2014 –The St. Regis Tianjin, The Astor Hotel, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Tianjin, The Westin Tianjin, Sheraton Tianjin Hotel, Sheraton Tianjin Binhai Hotel in Tianjin announced today they have joined hands to organize an inaugural ‘Charity Run’ in aid of The Feathers of The Heart. The Charity Run will take place on Sunday 12 October 2014, at 9 am at The River lounge of The St. Regis Tianjin.
The race is divided into Fun Run (Family with Kids Fun Run), Race Run (Run Competition), Hotel square teams running, Torch reply for Care – lead by Sick infant parents, Photo Contest – Run For Good.
Registration is priced at RMB 50. As part of the registration package, participants will receive a running T-shirt and donation invoice issued by “The Feathers of the Heart”. The Charity Run is organized by a group of 5 hotels in Tianjin, including The St. Regis Tianjin, The Astor Hotel, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Tianjin, The Westin Tianjin, Sheraton Tianjin Hotel and Sheraton Tianjin Binhai Hotel. Taking place for the first time this year, the Charity Run expects around 200 running enthusiasts and philanthropists from the city of Tianjin.
This event will help people to learn more about Biliary Atresia and draw more attention and care to the Biliary Atresia infants.
Funds raised through the Charity Run in Tianjin will go towards Biliary Atresia patients’ medical account for further treatment.
About “The Feathers of the Heart” Charity
The Feathers of the Heart was founded in 2012 by Mr. Hu Zhongjiang joint Tianjin volunteers who co-sponsored by all walks of life to help the patients in need, covering a number of public welfare relief activities. Since its establishment, they have helped over forty patients who were suffering from biliary atresia, Juvenile leukemia. The Feathers of the Heart is becoming the largest medical care charity in Tianjin. The core members are 197 people with more than 100 volunteers. They are college students, teachers, civil servants, celebrities. They have a strong sense of social responsibility and their recue work is very professional.
