It has also consistently ranked in the top three for social media comments among The Ritz-Carlton hotels globally. The top quality service leaves a long-lasting impression on guests, creating countless touching stories for guests who stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin. To celebrate the one year anniversary, The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin launched a social media campaign called Share Your #RCMemories. Within only two weeks, 50 guests shared their wonderful memories of staying at the hotel actively.
On October 16, a Customer Appreciation Party, with 160 guests from the world of business and representatives of 40 A-List media to attend in was held successfully. The party was aimed at showcasing the achievements and moving stories of Tianjin's first ever top luxury hotel during its first year of business. At the dinner, guests were taking Aston Martin Vanquish and DB9 sports cars to the hotel courtyard. The cars' combination of speed and British elegance made it a heavenly luxury experience. The event also featured a video of senior executives from different industries congratulating the Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin on its one year anniversary and sharing their experiences of staying at the hotel.
To appreciate the citizen of Tianjin for all the support they have shown since the hotel opened, The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin invited 100 residents of Tianjin who share the same birthday (October 18th) as the hotel to come and join in the festivities. This allowed more people to experience the service and specialty cuisine of The Ritz-Carlton. On October 18, a giant chocolate cake was set on display in the hotel lobby. Measuring 4 meters high, 2 meters across, and worth RMB 40,000, it soon attracted a large number of guests wanting to take pictures with it. With Hotel Manager Charlie Zha as the host, the Celebrate Your Birthday with Us event officially began. The 100 invited guests gathered in the lobby of The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin where they accepted the heartfelt blessing and felicitations of over 400 ladies and gentlemen from the hotel. The guests and the hotel were congratulated on their joint birthday, and enjoyed the joy and delicious flavor of the specially-made cake.
While guests were still enjoying the birthday celebrations, ladies and gentlemen dressed in clothing from a 19th European court suddenly appeared in the lobby. With the slow sounds of Mozart's famous Divertimento in D Major in the neo-classical European-style lobby lounge, they transported everyone watching back to a Victorian-era European court. Dressed in their costumes, ladies and gentlemen gave a romantic slow dance in the “castle” of The Ritz Carlton, Tianjin, which was closely followed by the story of European court culture and Afternoon Tea. Then came a faithful portrait of the elegant British lifestyle and 'royal afternoon tea' that the Ritz-Carlton is famous for.
In the year since it opened, The Ritz-Carlton Tianjin has fulfilled its social and environmental responsibility through the Community Footprints program. This program has led to the active involvement in three causes: protecting the environment, child welfare, and hunger and poverty. To promote low-carbon lifestyles and raise awareness of environmental issues, during the anniversary celebrations, The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin specially organized 80 ladies and gentlemen to partake in a “Run for Community” aimed at promoting green travel and helping to protect the environment.
