North China's Tianjin city's first gym using an air-supported structure was launched in Xiangluowan Business Center, according to the business center's administration committee.
The gym will be equipped with glare-free lighting and air purifiers which can eliminate the effects of PM2.5. To be completed next June, the gym will provide opportunities for Tianjin residents to work out and keep healthy.

The sports center and recreational plaza are located in the central area of Xiangluowan Business Center. With a total area of 27,612 square meters, the project also includes parking lots.
The project's first phase mainly focuses on building two gyms using an air-supported structure, greenery, and parking lots. The second phase is about building another air-supported structured gym on the remaining area.
The gyms in the first phase include a tennis center and badminton center, which include two tennis courts and 16 badminton courts respectively. The equipped glare-free lighting and air purifier system will provide a premium service for residents in the neighborhood.
According to the project administrator, "The gym is built to promote the idea of doing sports to keep healthy. The gyms' covering uses US-imported professional membrane of high intensity, light weight, and advanced translucency. I believe residents will have a fresh experience here." The project's first phase will start next month.
The director of the business center explained that the gyms will make up for the shortage of in-door playgrounds in winter and will provide a convenient sporting environment for the residents. In addition, the recreational plaza with up to 10,000 square meters of greenery will be a good choice for jogging.
