Issued by the development area's economic development bureau, technology bureau, State Administration of Taxation, and local taxation bureau, the official launch of the "three-in-one business license" marks the success of the registration reform and the start of the simplified approval process.

The new licensing system is expected to improve the efficiency of registration issuing.
Instead of submitting applications to the Industry and Commerce Department, the Administration of Quality and Technology Supervision, the State Administration of Taxation, and the local taxation bureau separately, the applicants are able to submit all materials to a window and receive the business license containing the organization and institution code and taxation registration number.
Shi Yang, deputy director of the Tianjin Development Area management commission, said that the integrated approval service has optimized the issuing process. The approving efficiency has been greatly improved.

In addition, the application time has been shortened. The new businesses' burdens have been alleviated, added Shi. The newly-launched businesses are able to complete the entire process of applying for business registration.

According to Shi, departments are able to share information in the electronic version of businesses' applications through the Internet, which is helpful to gathering and managing the information of enterprises' credit, promoting the establishment of a social credit system and enhancing the monitoring mechanism.Â
