The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin has upgraded its Sunday Seafood Brunch into a new sparkling style with free-flowing Moët & Chandon Champagne and offered sumptuous dining experiences for the family.
Theatrical live kitchens at the international restaurant Zest is a signature dining feature of Tianjin’s luxury hotel. The up-and-coming Zest was set to continue the tradition of social gatherings in a relaxed atmosphere.
Brunch as a concept was first mentioned by Guy Beringer on Hunter’s Weekly in 1895, referring to the Sunday habit as the “heavier fare”. The meal was to start around noon with regular, light breakfast dishes going into seafood, roasted meat, salads and, as an ode to “lazy Sundays”, champagne and other popular brunch cocktails. As restaurants used to be family-owned and closed on Sundays, hoteliers picked up the trend and took it to another level. Sunday brunch is now a tradition around the world and Zest is the venue of choice in Tianjin where people come to unwind and “sweep away the worries and cobwebs of the week”.
Inaugurated on November 2013, Sunday Brunch was first-time presented to guests in Tianjin at Zest and received highly praise all the time for impressive delicacies of China, Italy and Japan. In order to offer guests more sumptuous and incredible dining experience with substantial selections of culinary delights, the newly upgraded Sunday Brunch features traditional breakfast favorites, plus dim sum, sushi, shucked oysters, sweet shrimp, chilled seasonal seafood, entrees, salads, a meat carving station offering prime rib and an elaborate dessert station offering delectable homemade treats.
With free-flowing Moet champagne, Sunday Brunch at Zest becomes a fashionable dining institution in Tianjin.
The sparkling brunch is served from 11:30am-2:30pm on Sundays with the price of 428 CNY (628 CNY with free flowing Moët & Chandon) and is subject to 15% service charge.
